Bonzali Rural Bank Ltd formally Kumbungu Rural Bank is the premier Rural Bank in Northern Region established in 1990 under the Banking Act. 2004 – 673 to provide a comprehensive range of financial services to the rural poor communities as well as personal customers and the small-scale enterprises. Bonzali Rural Bank has carved a niche for itself its period of operation and has been the leading rural bank in the Northern Region. It has won enviable and prestigious awards including the best Rural Bank in the three Northern Regions (Northern, Upper East and West). Currently, Bonzali Rural Bank has nine agencies and two microfinance department.
