Zaabuni Account

The product is designed to enable households and individuals to deposit small variable amounts frequently towards the purchase of an asset for the house hold.

  • Account opened in the name of the house hold.
  • Locked boxes deposits at client home
  • Households make deposits in to the locked boxes
  • Contents of boxes collected at agreed regular periods
  • Households qualifies for loan after contributing for a continuous three months
  • Household can access loan to the tune of four (4) times the amount contributed for an agreed purpose such as :
  • Purchase of household appliances
  • Refurbishment of homes
  • Purchase of furniture etc.

Requirements:

1. Initial minimum deposit of GHC50.00
2. Two (2) passport size photograph and any recognised identity card to be provided by any members chosen by the household as signatory to the account.

Abii Dahinsheli Account

The Abiidahinsheli account is a unique savings account for children between the ages of 0-17, to cater for their current as well as future needs.

Details:

1. Minimum initial deposit of GHC 20.00 and any amount for subsequent deposits
2. Minimum years to operate before withdrawal shall be 2 years
3. Interest rate shall be paid based on current prevailing annual fixed deposit rate
4. Use of passbooks for transaction records
5. Child accounts opened with the parent as a trustee
6. Child gets full control over accounts when he or she turns 18 years

2. Two passport size photographs of the child and one for the account trustee/parent
3. recognised identity card (e.g. voters ID,NHIS, drivers licence, travelling passport National id card e.t.c.) of any of the parent /trustee

  • Repayment period shall be weekly,bi-weekly or monthly

Treasury Bills

Treasury bills/notes (T-Bills) are short term money market instruments issued by Bank of Ghana (BOG) on its own account or on behalf of the Government of Ghana (GOG).This is a common method used by governments to borrow money from citizens for development purposes.

Buying and selling of treasury bills/notes is open to all Ghanaian citizens, institutions and foreign residents in Ghana and abroad.
With the introduction of the weekly wholesale auction, available instruments will be advertised in the national papers. Currently, the available instruments are the 91 day and 182 day treasury bills, as well as 1 and 2 year notes. These may be purchased with a minimum amount of GH¢500. Treasury bills/notes may be bought on the primary or secondary market.
You can contact our main branches with two passport sized photos, driver's license, passport or voters ID.
You will fill an application form indicating the amount you wish to buy and type of instrument.
